Franklyn Sills

Franklyn has a background in orthodox sciences and medical research. He was one of the early students of Randolph Stone’s Polarity Therapy and studied osteopathic practice and cranial work in the nineteen seventies and early eighties.

He has been a formative influence in the cranial field, being one of the pioneers in a biodynamic approach.

Franklyn was a Buddhist monk for a period of time in the nineteen seventies and considers Buddhist teachings the foundation of his approach to being in the world .

He is the author of The Polarity Process, Craniosacral Biodynamics Vol. 1 and 2 and is currently working to update volume one. He is also engaged in a lengthy project to integrate Buddhist self-psychology with western objects relations and developmental theories and is involved in writing about and teaching these concepts.

He is Co-director of The Karuna Institute in Devon
